Charlie Mondahl

Charlie's background includes a fifteen year stint as a flight attendant with BA working on many different routes and aircraft starting with Vickers Viscounts and ending with The Concorde.

After leaving BA he set up and ran a successful company designing and supplying products to the educational sector, after semi retiring in 2005 he was appointed as a director of Cotswold Airport and is a key member of the team continuing development of one of the largest privately owned airports in Europe.

He has always maintained the time for and interest in charitable institutions, having spent four years as a Samaritan volunteer and presently visiting Old People's Homes with his 'Pets as Therapy' dog, Pepper.

Charlie, has recently moved to Wiltshire with his wife, Pat and two dogs, Chloe and Pepper, they like to take long walks in the countryside and both have integrated into country life easily, his two sons, Tom and Kieron, both live away from home but visit often.

His main interests outside of the airport are cooking, eating and socialising, together with a passion for playing his Fender Stratocaster guitar, mainly in the privacy of his study at home to an audience restricted to his two dogs. He likes to keep fit and visits the gym and plays squash once a week with his doctor!
