Tetbury and District Scout Group
On 30th July 2006, we were able to entertain and fly a group of
six scouts from Stroud and Tetbury District, all of whom had
previously shown an interest in Aviation. Not only did they
all relish the exhilaration and freedom of flight but also
the fun and excitement of some basic aerobatics!... an added
bonus, we still have the same number of sick bags as we started
with! All the scouts were sent home with prized pictures and
a video of their experience so that they could relive and
share their excitement with friends and family.
The ultimate reward came when it became clear that one scout had returned home with a new life focus and thirst for a career in aviation. fly2help have pledged to support Ashley in seeing through his new-found ambition and he will return to Kemble in the very near future to work towards achieving his goal... watch this space!
