Ron Major Completes Stroud Half Marathon for fly2help
Ron Major, a great supporter of fly2help, has just completed the Stroud Half Marathon to help raise funds for us - "For me it was a rewarding run, shaving 12 minutes off my previous time, but an even better result for fly2help by raising a total, as a team, of £726" said Ron. FOUR! - Red Arrows & BBMF Golf Day
Tuesday 28th September provided fly2help with a wonderful days golfing at the Kendleshire Golf Club. The sun eventually broke through to provide the players with a stunning backdrop as each team, comprised of generous supporters and members of the Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF), enjoyed a round of golf, followed by a wonderful dinner and prize givings. Cotswold Airport's Battle of Britain Airshow
fly2help had another fantastic event at Cotswold Airport's Battle of Britain Airshow over the weekend of the 18th and 19th of September. A grand total of £2463.22. was raised over the weekend, so thank you to all who bought raffle tickets and donated! Find out more
The RAF Pilots Raising Funds for fly2help - Land End to John O'Groats Scooter Challenge
Fourteen pilots from the RAF Red Arrows Display Team & the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have completed a 1,000 mile sponsored marathon on a fleet of scooters. The pilots completed their four day end-to-end ride in 125cc Vespa scooters. Find out more

Cotswold Airport Present Generous Donation to fly2help
fly2help were delighted to accept a generous donation from Cotswold Airport for £673.20. This money was raised via the June Air Show VIP enclosure raffle and auction. Find out more

Cape Challenge World Record Broken
fly2help are thrilled to announce that Steve Noujaim has broken the WORLD RECORD for flying a Light Aircraft from London to Cape Town and back. Nouj has smashed the record beating Henshaw's 1939 record by over half a day and beating Chalkie Stobbart's flight last year by 4 hours. Nouj has flown to Cape Town and back in 3 days 11 hours and 15 minutes - a mammoth effort. Find out more
Good Look to George & Tom as They Start the Ramshackle Rally
On 19th August Tom Mitchell and George Romain will be embarking on a journey from Calais to Valencia in a 1992 Renault 19. The trip consists of 3 days driving and will take them across 1400 miles, through France, over the Alps into Italy, through Spain along the Mediterranean coast and finally into their destination of Valencia. Melksham Street Party Raises £1505 for fly2help
On Saturday 24th July fly2help reaped the benefit of the inspiration and generosity of Willow Close residents, friends and family of Melksham. The event put together by the Willow Close team, was led by Katie Chappell, whose energy & enthusiasm have been hard to ignore. Katie's next door neighbours are closely related to the charity and as longstanding volunteers for fly2help have witnessed firsthand the benefits of the charity's work on many occasions. fly2help had its debut presence at the Gloucestershire based music festival 2000 Trees over the weekend of 16th - 19th July. Sharp showers couldn't dampen spirits as the festival goers provided the charity with donations and raffle ticket sales totalling £991! Find out more
Red Arrows Trust Donation
On Thursday 8th July 2010 Chris Hadlow, CEO of fly2help, visited RAF Scampton, the home of the Red Arrows, to receive a cheque for an extremely generous donation from the Red Arrows Trust. This donation is part of the fabulous support that fly2help is receiving from the Red Arrows this year as one of their chosen charities. Find out more
fly2help Raffle Paintings Flying High With the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
On a very sunny warm July 3rd 2010, two specially commissioned paintings for fly2help, which formed part of our raffle prize draw this June, took to the skies with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF). The Avro Lancaster displayed at the Waddington International Airshow in front of a capacity crowd, with the Lancaster painting on board, while the Dakota painting was on board the BBMF Dakota which flew over France. fly2help saw yet another fabulous event at the Cotswold Air Show 2010. Following on from last year, the event was held over two days and fly2help were situated at our main stand, and a smaller scale set-up in the VIP area.
