Nominated Charity for the Knowle & Dorridge Lions Club
fly2help are honoured to have been selected as one of the nominated charities for the Knowle & Dorridge Lions Club for 2009/2010. With our two organistaions having already established a good relationship, we are now delighted to announce the full programme of fundraising events designed to encourage those from far and wide to get fit and raise funds for charity.
The Lions Festive Walks based on Baddesley Clinton National Trust House started in 1993 and have raised well over £60,000 for charity. Each year they develop new signposted routes and feature a variety of local country pubs.
The Knowle Fun Run goes from strength to strength every year with the limit on entries being pushed up every year. Enter online from 1 January 2010.
In July there is the chance to Stroll or Cycle with two events on the same day, both from Packwood National Trust House. Having started in 2001 and 2006, the new events have both have proved a great attraction raising funds for Diabetes UK & Leukaemia Research respectively.
