The fly2help team in actionThe fly2help team did the charity proud when they joined members of the Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for a gruelling coast to coast bike ride.

The charity's Chief Executive Officer, Chris Hadlow, along with Phill O'Dell and Brian Jones, flew the fly2help flag on the recent '400 in 4' event, in which the riders cycled from St Davids in Wales, to Lowestoft in Suffolk, in just four days.

The event raised money for various causes, including £10,000 for fly2help, which supports people with life-limiting and chronic illnesses, families struggling to live with bereavement and disability, isolation or financial deprivation, as well as people who have suffered extreme neglect and abuse.

Charity Manager Sue Bennett said: "It was a fantastic effort by everyone concerned and I am so proud of Chris, Phill and Brian, whose efforts really helped promote the charity."

"There were some very tired legs at the end of it all but it was a great achievement and we'd all like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the event."

The charity would like to extend a special thank you to The Big Adventure Store in Swindon, which provided "excellent" support with the bikes and advice in the run-up to the event.
