SMILES ABOVE! - Sharing Miles More Air Smiles
A New Year and a new smile as fly2help Patron, Air Chief Marshal Sir Glenn Torpy, helps to launch a new campaign - 'Smiles Above!'
Smiles Above! will allow anyone who wants to donate to the charity, the chance to become a member of a club where they will be a closer part of how the money raised is spent by the charity.
"This is a chance for me to help fly2help provide the opportunity for those in need to experience the unique exhilaration of flying. Becoming a sponsor and Smiles Above! Club member is your chance to do the same" explains Sir Glenn.
Smiles Above! will give you the chance to donate a small amount of money to the charity every month via a standing order. The money received will be used to run the charity's Air Smiles Days and in return you receive a token of appreciation depending on the monthly amount pledged. A regular donation as low as just £2 a month will make all the difference.
Mandy of fly2help says: "Smiles Above! is similar in concept to the way in which some charities offer people the chance to sponsor a person or a project. As well as their 'Thank You' gift, anyone who joins the club by making a donation will receive a quarterly e-newsletter and can choose to become involved with the Air Smiles Days as a volunteer. They can of course also follow the latest news of Air Smiles Days online".
Chris also said that Smiles Above! supporters can be a part of the charity's work if they wish to see the benefits of their support first hand. "They can join our volunteer group and help at our PR events and fundraisers, or even on our Air Smiles events too; the work we do is so empowering and enormously rewarding to be a part of."
