Applications for the 2012 Cotswold Airport Aviation Scholarships are now closed
A record number of applicants were received for the 2012 Cotswold Airport Aviation Scholarship in association with fly2help. Interviews after pre-selection will take place on Saturday 25 th February 2012. All candidates will be notified by email.
It is with thanks once again to the generosity of Cotswold Airport owner Mr Ronan Harvey, fly2help are delighted to announce their support of the 2012 Cotswold Airport Scholarships.
The scholarships will run from Monday 2nd - Thursday 5th and Tuesday 10th - Friday 13th April 2012.
If you have always wanted to be a pilot, an air traffic controller or engineer the scholarship programme is designed to give you an introduction to the incredible spectrum of options offered by the aviation industry.
- Aviation industry experience
- Ground school
- Flying tuition (fixed wing, micro light, glider and helicopter)
- Guidance from aviation professionals
- Industrial visits
- Air Traffic Control
- Aircraft maintenance
- ...and many more aviation-related activities!
The scholarships are open to anyone who
- will be aged between 14 and 18 on 1st April 2012,
- lives within Gloucestershire or Wiltshire,
- MOST IMPORTANTLY, is passionate about aviation and interested in pursuing a career in this exciting and dynamic industry!
The Scholarships started in 2008 and have been a great success, each and every scholar has benefited immensely from the programme and gone away with their enthusiasm intensified.
